Founded 1949
The Street Chrysanthemum, Dahlia & Vegetable Society was founded in the late 1940’s by a group of keen flower growers. The Annual Show in September is the climax of the Society’s year, with exhibitors from around the South West competing at National standards. In addition to Chrysanthemums and Dahlias, the show now includes classes for vegetables, floral art, fuchsias, begonias and children’s classes. Exhibitors range from novices to members who are successful at specialist national competitions.
